I've come across a few references to using Lock-Tite to hold torx screws in place. Went to my local hardware store and discovered Lock Tite makes several kinds of screw holding compounds: Any advice on which works best for holding torx screws? Also, is there a recommended way of loosening screws held in place with this stuff?

The blue Loctite 242 compound allows you to remove the screws again. Some of the other compounds are PERMANENT, requiring high heat to remove the fasteners.

Just be careful when applying any Loctite near plastic - it eats it up!
