locker making kit?

Hello, I just ordered a custom knife from one of the folks here and it looks like it's going to be a real beauty. I know nothing about making a knife and wonder if maybe there are kits for beginners. After viewing some of the knives you folks make, I would like to give it a try. Thanks, willp
