I have an esee4, the blade is 3/16 thick, blade length is 4.5 inches.
Basically I am looking for someone to shorten it down to 3.4 inches or so, without messing up the heat treat, then possibly convexing the edge without removing the coating?
Any makers game to try?
Its for a good family friend who loves the esee 3, but wants it in the 3/16 thick range of the 4, say just a little shorter. Same blade profile, belly and all.
