looking for Gold Micarta handle material

Hello, I am trying to locate a source for several blocks of gold micarta. The blocks need to be at least 1-1/8" X 1-1/8" X 5". Anyone have any for sale, or know where I might find some? Any help is appreciated!

I can't say that I have ever seen gold micarta, does it exist?

George, I was told that gold micarta exists, but in reality I would be satisfied with yellow, butter scotch, gold... whatever you choose to call it. As it would look good with brass hardware, I'm ok with it. Do you have any leads?? Thanks!

Texas Knifemaker's has it in their paper catalog, I didn't look online but you could give them a try.

I believe Koval's also carried butterscotch Micarta in the past.

the micarita you are looking for is called naterial color

Guys, thanks for the great information/leads. I haven't been lucky enough to find what I'm looking for in a 5" block that is at least 1-1/8" thick. I can see this search may last a while.

I have some of the old (I mean old) canvas micarta in gold color that used to be for electrical boards. Trouble is it is 1/4" thick. I think maybe you could laminate it?

Did you ever find any micarta? I have a block of naterial micarta that polishes out to a gold or butterscotch color. It is 4 7/16 X 3 3/8 x 8 5/8 long. Drop me a line if you are interested.
