I've been looking around for a thin and light locking folder in the 2.5-2.75in size range, and I have been having a really hard time finding anything in that size range and style. I'm also on a budget, so I'm trying to stay less than $40 for the knife, which narrows down the possibilities even more.
A few of the blades I've been looking at as possibilities, are the Buck Bucklite Max small, and the Buck Lux. The problem is I have a hard time finding reviews or thoughts on these knives, which is why I am asking you guys. The Buck experts
.
I'm mostly wanting information and photos of the blade steel (420HC seems a bit ... soft, it compares to AUS4 right?), the thickness of the knives not including the pocket clip, and the orientation of the pocket clip on these knives.
So... Any thoughts?
Thanks for the help!
