Looking for news on the Spyderco Balisong

Hi Lothar. Welcome to the Spyderco forum. We have 3 designs in process at this time. We are currently preparing prototypes of the 3 designs for evaluation by the design team. Things are looking good. Thanx for the interest.

Hey Michael, Baliman. Thanx for the offer to help. Currently we have a few people already lined up. Shipping a proto around does take time. If we need additional help, I'll holler. Many of the "features" that are being worked on are the result of suggestions made on the baliforum thread that Carlos started and from the team that we're working with.

As we get closer to some final things, we'll let you know.

If I may offer a perspective....

I would like to see a bali with a blade less than 4 inches long.

I would have bought a BM by now, but the blade, from handle to tip, is more than 4 inches.

I want one with ful spyderco serrations, but with a smooth blunt safety tip,

The pointy end always seems to want to sheath itself into my palm durring arieals.:( :)
