For 5160 go to the auto wrecking yards and get leaf springs off any US vehicle made in the 1950s and 60s. These are all 5160. The automobile industry used it alot into the 70s and still use it today but they also used other stuff too. If you want to make sure its top quality 5160 get it off those years. Check visually first at the springs to see if the arc has been flatten out or if the ends have been bent. I look around the holes too for stress cracks. After it has passed the visual test it never has given me any problems and I have been using the fool out of it for years. I have heard complaints about some of the new stock having cruddy spots but never the vintage stuff.
