Lost a HCLE

So I lent my roommate my HCLE for him to cut up raw meat and make beef jerky. Looked the other day where I usually keep all my knives and couldn't find it... I hate losing stuff!!

Anyway, my roommate and I searched high and low to no avail. Anyone else ever lose a great knife?
