Received my first 'Flat-Iron Folder' from IronStone (www.fe3stone.com) this week, and have to share what fun this knife is.
Similar in length and size to the Endura, its handle is the fairly thick volcano-grip with a teardrop-shaped drying vent for use in wet environments. The clip is tight, but smooth coming and going through my jean pocket.
The [ATS-55] blade, unlike the Endura, has a spearpoint shape, giving this folder a hefty feel while weighing less than 3oz. It comes in a 50/50 plain-serrated edge. The weight of the blade itself makes one-handed closing an easy move.
I showed it to a friend who also liked the aesthetic design of this model. I'm sure this knife is made for 'IronStone only' but if you like your Endura, this knife has a slightly different feel.
Does anyone else have the 'Flat-Iron Folder'? If so, share your impression of it with us.
