Lowrider clips for Kershaws

I have a Kershaw Shallot and JYD 2 SG2 and was wondering if you would need them sent to you or if you Have templates you could use ?
 
Not the JYDII and I have a clip ready to go on that model if you want it.

The Shallot uses the Leek clip and I don't need the knife to make the clip but I don't know where the fold over point is on it so if I do it blind it may overhang or under shoot the mark without the knife to gauge the best place to make the fold.

So on that one I'd suggest mailing the knife. My work order form is in the low rider clip and mail instruction thread which is a sticky post top the page. Once filled out and printed mail at your convenience. I can mail you the JYDII clip with that one or it could go out today if you get back to my by noon or so when my PO closes here on Sat. Thanks.

Alright I guess I'll have to wait till I'm state side to order the shallot clip. How much for the clip for the JYD ?
 
$30 plus shipping to get it out but I'll mail it to you for N/C to your AP address. If I get another Shallot I'll try to find this thread to let you know I can do two when I see that first one.

By the way. What mode of carry were you wanting for the Shallot, tip up or tip down carry?

I wouldn't mind if it was under shot some, my main problem is I don't care for the stock clip. I Prefer tip up but not its not a big deal.
 
I looked at some pics of it and I think I can make you a tip up carry clip to fit that without the knife. If anything I'll be sure it under scores the end instead of overhangs. The problem I see is that it may partially block your lanyard hole though. If you are cool with that I'm sure it will be fine.

I went ahead and made up one to fit your Shallot. It will screw right down but as I tell everyone buying clips when I don't have the knife, once its mounted on there see how it looks. If the clip needs an adjustment to move the stem to one side you can do that by lifting up the bottom of the clip, you know the end that slides over your pocket lip and gently but forcefully move the clip to recenter it better to give the set a new memory. Its pretty easy to do. Normally as in the JYDII clip you are getting I do that part since I have the folder to make the clip fit. In the Shallot situation you may have to make a minor fit adjustment for it but other than this it should be fine and it will certainly bury the knife better for you than the original.

I'm a little late coming to this thread, but I'll post the pick anyway. I thought it might help give you a reference point in the future. I wish I would have sized it a bit bigger though.

Thanks Flashpoint. I figured there were several out there but couldn't remember who. The clip I made looks about like that one and should fit much the same.

I really appreciate that but I already made one up for him. I'm sure it will fit about like the one above which is pretty good. The lanyard being positioned on this one makes for a nice margin of error so once I finally realized that I was not as uncomfortable doing one sight unseen for him.

I'm not actually military, I'm just a civilian contractor. My hats off to you though for offering a discount to those who do serve :thumbup:. You can send it to my state side address, as I have a feeling it'll be safer there. One of my buddies is heading back over in a week or two, I'll just have him grab it.

STR, I tried to PM you last week about a clip for a Leek...don't know if I did it right. Great knife, just need it to ride lower in the pocket. You can make the clip without the knife?
