Yeah, I really took a liking to the traser illumination system. The only thing I like better is the indiglo-type backlighting, something you don't seem to find on pricier watches- for the money the manufacturers charge, you'd think they could come up with something better than luminous paint on some of their models.
I had been considering a Stealth before I bought my 1563T, but couldn't pass up the low price, esp. since I had never really seen the watch in the dark to see how well it really glowed. My mother commented that the 1563T didn't look dressy at all, so now I have to buy another watch.

I've been debating between the Stealth and the solid Titanium models, with perhaps a Stocker & Yale or Marathon watch for more potentially abusive uses.
I also chose the Captain's Field watch because the traser tubes are almost completely exposed, thereby allowing for the greatest amount of luminosity; the other two models seem to have less of the trasers showing. If anyone has a good photo of Titanium or Stealth models, or the Ultimate Field watch [in the dark, of course], I'd like to see them. The Ultimate Field was another one of my choices [actually my first choice], and in the all steel model is very substantial, but again, there seems to be not too much of the traser showing, so I'm not certain about how luminous it would be.
Look here for the post about my first purchase.
