I was asked at a gun club meeting tonight if military issue M9 Phrobis bayonets were serialized.
Not my collecting specialty and I only have a retail version. Save me some time searching.
Surely someone out there is willing to show off their Phrobis knowledge and answer my question.
I do know military equipment sometimes gets "rack numbers" for storage but that is an armory thing, probably manually applied.
I'm sure he was asking about serial numbers applied at time of manufacture.

. Looking at Worthpoint, the Buck ones don't appear to be serialized other than the occasional hand written numbers. The Ontario M9s appear to have a serial number on the scabbard, from the Marines.
