Does anyone know the knife laws for MA.? Or where I can find them? The only thing I know, and I do not know if it is correct, is that in Boston, you can only carry a knife with a 3 inch blade. Again, I don't know if this is correct. If it is, what about the rest of the state? TIA!! I really appreciate your help!

Here is my best practical advice as a knife-carrying Bostonian:
Stay out of trouble and don't attract any attention to your knife and you'll be OK carrying any practical blade even if it is against the fine technical points of the law.

Thank you kindly!! I appreciate it. I don't do anything illegal, and intend to keep it that way.

Massachusetts General laws pretty much only prohibit daggers, double edged knives and automatic opening knives (open assist not included by definition).
there is no restriction on blade length other than any fixed blade over 3 1/2" cannot be carried concelled.
local laws can have additional restrictions. not sure on Boston but I do know since 911 they have tougher ( more folish) laws than even California.

Where in the MGL does it mention fixed blades over 3.5"? I have yet to see it.

Here is the relevant section straight from the Massachusetts state web site.
