Those look amazing.

Specs? (besides what's on your website?). 1075 carbon steel? blade thickness and weight? Are the micarta scales removable? I think it'd be great to get one and buy a "backup" ready to go blade blank to replace it when you wear the first one out.

A quick question. If one wanted to put a polish on the micarta what would be the easiest way/method?

You could mineral oil it. it would make it shiny (and slippery) but it will wear off.

1075 steel. The 12"er is 3mm steel tapered from butt to tip, the rest are 2.2mm steel again tapered from butt to tip. The scales are not removable. Neato idea, but these are made in El Salvador, and the holes aren't computer made, so there is variation. It wouldn't work. Plus, the scales are made by me sculpted individually by hand with files. So you can't get another set anywhere. Good questions!

Man, I need to come down and check out the machete factory :)

Let me know Ill come up and check it out with u

Sounds good to me. Maybe next Monday if not then I am not sure when I can make it.

Do it. Y'all can both come next Monday. No problemo! BTW Mist, its time to start your knife!

The easiest way would be to start at 80 grit sandpaper and go up to 400 or so. BUT!!! The grippiness of the handle will go down every time you get smoother.
