Can someone please point me in the direction of a picture or a thread with pics that clearly show the O.D., black, and natural canvas micarta handle colours? I've looked but haven't turned up anything yet. Thanks.

Just a few handle pics I've dug up. All the colors start at 3/8" thick per slab and are contoured the same.

It looks like black, black, nat canvas, nat canvas, O.D. Is that correct? I'm surprised most seem to be going for natural canvas. I like it a lot but don't see it too often on knives. Is this the same handle colour that's on Mistwalker's Bushfinger? I'm hoping it is and that it will age as beautifully as his is.

Yea it is the same as the infamous Mist Bushfinger. I think that that is why everyone is going with it. They like how it ages, with use.

Yea, its the same color. Natural micarta ages really pretty. I agree.

I would like to add that the way the handle is contoured shows much thought into comfort in the hand as well as multiple grips. I have found that I can choke up high, go to the middle and then toward the end of the handle and it is very comfortable with all grips. A very well thought out handle design.

I derived the handle shape for my larger knives from the Khukuri. The HI section at Bladeforums was the first forum I ever posted in. Thats my roots.

That's interesting as my first few choppers came from Yangdu. Very high quality products and good people to deal with.
