Made a Forging Hammer Today

I have been wanting to try one of these cutlers hammers for a long time now. I decided I would make one. It works like a dream. Forging bevels is very easy and distortion is a minimum, little reverse curve. The swing is a little different but was a lot easier than I thought. This one weighs 3.5lbs.

Chuck, Does it use the same power supply as other hammers? Looks like the real deal. Are you doing the Mini Show Saturday now that your living in God's Country? If so bring your new toy so I can see it. How'd you fair after this last little storm?

The power supply is the same but it seems to push the steel a bit better. I will be at the mini show but will not have much. I just got my forge running monday. Needless to say I have not finished anything. It is incredible how long it takes to get things going again. We faired well during the storm We are kind of protected so we don't feel the wind as bad as others did.
