i practice FMA and like a many FMA practitioners, i like to collect antique sandata (Filipino weapons)...for example this talibon or garab sword...
holding such a weapon makes me puff my chest outward and clench my fists tightly...swinging and slashing things with this steel wakes up the mighty weekend warrior in me. then i realize that this is a precious artifact of my culture and i must preserve it and maybe hand it down to my future generations. so it lead me to search for someone who can try and reproduce it.

...i found that man here in this forum...MoMo the Pintung of Taiwan!
i've always been impressed by his knife making skills, so i hurried and dug-up a design i drew up and e-mailed him.
a couple of weeks later i received a response saying he'd love to do it.
so he calls on all the elemental "chi" needed to recreate this hand-held Grim Reaper...
bourne of fire, air, earth, and water...the talibon comes out of the forges' womb to glimpse the clear blue sky.
(to be continued...)
