Maple Burl Bowie

So I took some suggestions and just did stabilized wood for the handle on this bowie. Turned out great and the balance is just dead on where I wanted it.

I beat the snot out of this thing testing it on a bunch of seasoned firewood and it did great.



Steel: 1095
Thickness: Distal Tapered 3/16 In
Blade: 9 In
O/A: 13 3/4 In
Grind: Flat / Convex
Finish: High Polished
Handle: Stabilized Maple Burl
Sheath: Leather

Very nice. That blade looks bigger than the 9" stated. Probably an optical illustion caused by the angle the photo was taken from.
