Who's going? What day is it on? I'm still up in the air as to whether I'll be there or not but I've got to decide soon. I only have a handful of knives right now and I can't seem to find the energy to finish the half dozen others that are in process. :(

Peter: Planning on having a NECKA meeting after the show. To go over items like date for next Hammer-In and etc.
Aug. 11th

Peter,
I'll be there. You should do the show and bring my left handed knife we talked about to the show. Indian George said that your not really a good knifemaker until you've made a lefty. hehehe:D

George Just answer that's right.
(I'll send you the bribe in a couple of days.)

I'll be there. I want to make up for missing the last show and the last hammer-in. I look forward to meeting everyone and putting faces to names.

See you then,

John

I'm going. Want to meet the rest of the locals. I met Rene at NCCA show. Also met Dan and Chuck but there are a lot more guys to meet.

Marcel

I'll be there, probally walking around, i'm getting ready for a show in NC in sept! Peter you should get a table, it is good exposure, and lets people handle your wares. It is much different to see and hold the knife in person rather than just seeing in on the internet.
See you there,
Chuck

Hey George,
Not yet, but the piece of chainsaw is begging to be ground into a fixed blade. I'll see that I can come up with. Maybe a nice little bowie!
Chuck

Hey George and Chuck,
I'm back up North and got to work with that damascus today. I made a little fighter with the cable, it got much "littler" after it warped badly in the quench. I got brave and decided to go with a hollow grind, and I paid for it. I saved it though and it's being tempered right now. Not sure what the handle material will be. How fine do you finish that stuff before etching? Is 220 fine enough? I don't have any finer belts for my big monster grinder yet. Thanks again for the help, hopefully I can show you the results at Marlboro.

Ryan

Ryan: Do it up to 600, etch it and do it again, an again and until you like it,then I etch again and hit it with 1500. Post pic's
