Has anyone else used these knives? I have some really excellent verions that can hold a very scary edge well. They are made in Finland and their better versions are good quality.

My favourite is a teflon coated knife that is very flexible and very very sharp!

Anyone have any views or suggestions of other good filleting knives?

Dave, here in the US I think they market the Marttiini fillet knives under the Rapala/Normark name. And they've been on the market here for 30 years or so, long enough that almost everyone owns one. Great knives for the money, take a good sharp edge & easy to keep them sharp while you fillet a mess of fish. I've got an old 6" birch handled model that's seen a lot of use and a newer 4" 'trout' model, they're certainly worth the $10 or so that they cost.
