This is an FB2 model folding bowie with cream colored mastodon ivory scales, stainless bolsters and S30V blade steel. The knife is 3 3/4" closed with a 3 1/8" blade.

It also features the Sawby lock, or self lock as it is also known. The lockup is very solid, but it is easy to operate with a nice and smooth action. The lock is operated by pressing up on the little tab at the bottom of the blade tang, and rotating the blade closed. The lock is sealed from dirt and pocket lint ( unless it is less than .001" :-)

The price on this one is SOLD!!! shipped CONUS, with a leather slip cover. I accept CC or paypal as well.

Thanks!!

Wow, that's a really nice knife! There's a whole lot of blade packed into that handle.
I remember seeing a few similar pieces on Knifeart.com & they got snatched up pretty quick.

Do you make this model with man-made handle materials, such as Micarta?

I certainly can. I don't do many knives with man made materials unless a customer requests it.

Thanks for the compliments John

Beautiful knife Bailey!

When did you start making knives with Scott's locking mechanism?

Regards,
Mark

Mark,

I started useing Scotts self lock a few months ago. I prototyped one to make sure I could make it, then contacted Scott to ask permission. He was more than gracious in granting me permission, and has been very helpfull in problem areas.

I have one I was able to snag here from Bailey.

No surprise that it is nothing short of excellent.

Somebody is going to be very happy with this one!
