Let's try this again!
Going to Alaska in late June for 10 days of nothing but fishing with my brother and nephew. I decided to commission matching Bird and Trout style knives to celebrate the trip. After the knives were made, my artist wife designed a stylized drawing of Denali with Alaska 2002 underneath which was etched on the blade. Eagle Creek Laser Etching did a great job! If you look closely you can see the logo (partially hidden by the reflection).
Aint they pretty?
Knife Specs:
Blade: Hollow Ground, Slightly Upswept, Full Integral
Blade Steel: 01 Tool Steel
Blade Length: 3.125
Handle: Water Buffalo Horn, (Double) Red & White Liner, Mosaic Pins
Bolster: 304 SS
OAL: 7.50
Maker: Wayne Whittaker
Laser Etching: Eagle Creek
