Matthiessen River Hike

[Mr. Sogetsu]

Got off early the other day and went out for a hike. I went to Matthiessen river trails. It was only about 2 miles since the map didn't have any distances(found one at end of trail). Here are some pictures from the day. Next time I will go to the Dells area where it is more scenic.

A ton of tadpoles and frogs here.

Never seen one so big. Tree is around 15" thick.

I also brought some friends as well.

You might be seeing more of them later this week...

I can remember when I was a kid (about 100 years ago ) going there and playing in the reproduction of the old fort they have there. We were there last year, and it`s still there!
