Max Burnett is a knife making god! These are my new babies, finally came today. It was a hard wait, let me tell you. That's caribou antler handles, the biggun is about 13 1/4 OAL, about 8 inches of blade. The little one is about 6 1/2 OAL. The only bad thing about these two, is I can't put 'em down.

That is a set of knives that are meant to be used with the old look to them you would not have to be afraid of scratching them and crying hope you have fun with your new knives.

does mr burnett have a web site

Very nice. I like knives that are given that old time look.

By the way, what exactly is wrong with not being able to put them down?

I saw pic's of these while i was visiting max a week and a half ago. I wish i could have handled them.
Theb best thing about max's knives is that you cant break em. If you do,he'll fix it.
Makes a hell of a knife.

I saved the best for last. Max and I talked for a while about coming up with a sheath design. I need to have a secure way to strap these to a backpack. We came up with this. The quickdraw absolutely insures the sheath won't go anywhere. The knife sits just behind my right shoulder, out of the way but accessible when I need it. I think it will work great, and I hope to test this setup soon.

Sorry for the crappy photo, I just wanted to get the point across.

edit, I can't type today.

The sheath makes it that much better. Without a good sheath, you're screwed. Excellent all around package.

i dig max's kninves that sheath must have taken a while to do.Ilove that design
