Here are are few ideas for the day. If you have any otheres, let`s hear them.

1) If there any skills anyone would like to demonstrate feel free to post them here.
2) What about a swap meet? Basically, anyone who has some gear they want to swap or sell should bring it along. This can mean knives, fishing gear, hunting gear, camping gear or any outdoor gear you don`t use any more. Even outdoor books are cool.

3) Bring your knives for a show and tell.

4) Design a Tin Knife. Don`t forget to bring a cardboard cutout of your design! The size limitations are 4" long x 3/32" thick x 3/4" tall. I will be making these for you to take home for free.

5) If anyone has anything unusual to cook on the grill, bring it!

6) Maybe go for a hike in McKinley Woods.

There will be some random drawings for prizes!
If you plan on coming, post here! I need to get an idea of how much food and steel to buy.

I plan on attending.

Maybe an idea to run with is; Are there any skills that anyone would like to see demo'd?

Just another take on the demonstration idea.

Does anyone that is going know how to make fire with a bow drill? This is one skill that I would love to learn.
 
This will be happening rain or shine! I ordered steel for the "Tin Knives" this morning.

jds1 and I were talking this morning, and he suggested a possible hike in McKinley Woods, which is about 13 miles away from me. What do you guys think about that?
