Hope its o.k. to post these on here. To me they have kind of a classic timeless design, in my opinion. I'd like to say a big thanks for Eddie at Shadow Knives for making these two beauties!
The bottom one, a Mdl IX, black and red micarta with brass pins and lanyard hole, I ordered for myself at Christmas time this year. It's 3-1/2" x 3/16" 440C. I asked for 3-1/2" because it would be legal to conceal carry in my state. And thought it a perfect size for field dressing deer and other small game.
The other knife at the top is a Mdl IX, 3-1/2" x 5/32" 440C. This one came to me as a total surprise. March 17, St. Patricks Day, was my wife's and my 40th Wedding Anniversary. We went out to eat a nice dinner with family and friends and of course I got her something too. And when we got home, she handed me a package to unwrap and the most beautiful redwood burl handled knife with red liners I have ever seen in my life was there in my hands! All I can say is, what a wonderful woman! Hope to put it to good use this coming hunting season.
