Michigan ASP laws?

I just picked up a 16" asp from a forum member. I've been searching around for a while and can't find what I'm looking for.

Is there a law in MI against me carrying this? I keep it in my truck usually but I do travel to a few areas around here where I would like to bring it with me.

Any help would be great.
