I ordered a Mike Alsdorf Interframe Jack, and it arrived tonight!! WOW, what an incredible knife. I was sooooo drawn to Mike's work, and I just HAD to order one of his knives. (This is my first custom slippie, AND the only slippie I own.) Currently, the only picture I have is from Mike, and I will include it. I am THRILLED with this little knife!!!This is one incredible knife!I WILL be taking my own pix of it soon. I don't know if I will be able to capture the beauty of the MOP. Thanks for looking.

for the $ I doubt there is anyone making a finer knife than MA. you got a good one. What is black material?

interframe; methinks a weird reflection off the polished stainless.

That is a beautiful knife, congratulations on your first slipjoint.

I sincerely hope that it infects your mind, so that collecting custom slipjoints becomes a major obsession, and that you become a regular on the folksy (Traditional) forum.

yeah it kills me that he won't make bigger knives b/c his work is so very satisfying to hold and use, but I like a bigger package. Your knife there in particular is a spectacular specimen!

Mike's knives look like a screaming bargain, IMHO.

Congrats on a beautiful little slipjoint!

Congrats to you! That is a beautiful little knife. Coincidentally, I just received the sibling to this piece in blacklip pearl - my third Alsdorf and each one an absolute gem.

Mike has starting making a larger version of the jack. I have two interframe Doctors and couldn't be more pleased.

LOL!!! You never know. ;)

Great knife. His work is always superb as is his support after the sale.

I have 3 Alsdorfs and all are incredible. As for a larger knife, his slimline trapper is a medium size knife especially with 2 blades. Here is a comparison shot...slimline trapper on the top, doctor's knife and jack.

Roger... We Need Pics Please!:d

Congratulations on a good choice.
Mike is doing great work at a great price and his blades make for excellent users too.

More pics of his stuff.

Managed to talk him into a stag inlay earlier this year. This was his first.

I had him ship this one to Dan Farr and I picked it there this past weekend. Dan was pretty darned impressed with the workmanship.

And the other two -ironwood and goldlip - interfremaes all:

Roger, those are so beautiful!! I am defintely going to have to get an Alsdorf with blacklip pearl!! WOW!!!

I am REALLY starting to appreciate the exquisite simpleness of a slippie. The more I play with my new knife, the more I love it, and really appreciate it's qualities.

I do believe that I will be seeing more of slippies in my future.

Thanks Roger and Gus... your pics are incredible! Roger, that is about as sweet a trio as I have ever seen! Gus, you are quite the Bastid... you have some beauties too!

Here are MY pix of my new Alsdorf. Thanks for looking!
