I would like to thank Mike for all of the assistance and comments that he supplies to this forum. Dude, when do find the time to make knives????:D :D :D Going forward I will address you as Mr. Webster of the Knifemaker's Community. ;) ;) Keep up the good work. Thanks again.

look out, IG is buttering you up for something???:D :D

I have to agree -- No matter what I post, Mike Hull always seems to have an answer.

I'd like some more pictures of Mr. Hull's knives.

Thanks George, and the rest of you. That's nice, embarrassing, but nice. :D

George, I'm just getting back into making, slowly but surely, after a lenghty recovery from some nasty surgeries. And at least one more needed on the back.

Wasn't aware of your status. Thank God for the Internet or I bet you would have been climbing the walls?
Wish I lived closer so I could assist you in our arena. Hope everything goes well and speedy.
PS: Since Dan mentioned it, do you have a $1000 I can borrow till my hunchback son straightens up in the Marines.
:D :D :D :D

Unfortunately no. But what I will do is ask his Gunny to give him "special" help with his problem. I have a "hunch" that should fix it.;) :D

IG,
I think I put Mike in shock a few months ago when I did a big Thanks for his input. :)
We need to do it every so often, cause he IS GREAT for his constant input of factual things.
THANKS, Mike.

we are lucky to have him. also i wish you god's speed on your recovery and up coming surgery. i have three vertabra fused in my lower back. if you would like to chat, e-mail or call 310-260-9245.

Thanks all. And thanks to all who contribute here.

Laurence, I've had previous lumbar surgery, as well as a Ti plate in my neck with fusion(recently).

My problem is, the lower back surgery years ago(76)was a lamanectomy(sp?) and they never did a fusion or rods, so the lower back is now abnormally crooked, whick is causing everything else to bend out of shape to compensate.

Mike who? :D

In all seriousness, Mike has done quite a bit to contribute to a number of forums. He is has led me down the "straight and narrow" more than once. He is a good egg as they say. Now, about that lamenectomy...it is a PITA, literally.

I also want to convey my appreciation to Mike. He is always helpfull but aside from his wealth of information and helpful rare links Mike is always positive and is quick to give a kind word to us. Group Hug!

Really Mike.... Thanks,
Bruce Bump

I'll pass on the hug myself. ;) But Mike has answered lots of my stupid questions here, alwayshappy to help. Least, he comes off as happy, he may be cursing me under his breath as he types. :D

i dont get to post much, but when i do stop by and visit,i always look forward to Mikes posts, and replys! without a doubt a huge contributor to the forums...my hats off to you Bud!

HUG?!?!?!?!?!   ;) :D . Thanks guys. And again, thanks to everyone who participates here, and makes this a great learning forum.

My thanks to Mr. Hull, too. He was the very first person I "met" on the forums when I returned to knifemaking, turned me on to Paltalk, and has been a great friend since.
He has a burgeoning knowledge of knives and knifemaking, and the most willing heart to share anything he knows.
This is a better place because of him.

Big fat sloppy biker kiss to my bud in Arizona..... don't melt in that "dry" heat, my friend! :)
