Mil 3 w/sharpened clip point

I got my ESEE 3 Mil today, I was expecting a sharpened pommel and a serrated blade but I was not expecting the clip point to be sharpened!! from the point back almost 2 inches down the spine is just as razor sharp as the blade! I am thrilled but suprised I didnt know it could come that way.I havent seen any post or threads about this,does anybody have anything they can add? I like it, I dont pry or use my knife as a screwdriver so Im not worried about the tip strength.

You got the clip point version of the 3MIL. I'm not a fan of the clip points myself, but if you like it, rock on brother!

I enjoy my ESEE3MIL CP , I use the sharpen spine portion to strike my firesteel
