These are letter openers I forged from old iron mine spikes just for fun. They are wrought iron so they are non-hardenable. They are 4 1/2 inches over all with a 2 1/4 inch blade. I have 5 of them for sale. These were dug form the mine shaft entrance by me, They are between 60 to 80 years old, it is surpising they survived at all.
