Ming vase made in China shock

I recently bought a Ming vase for $5 million. When I took it home a friend told me it was made in China, what a con. Don't people know China only makes trash to sell to Americans, I have contacted the autioneers to get my money back.

I think you do have a point, but I don´t know if this belongs in Gadgets and Gear (vase), Political (China-USA relations) or Whine and Cheese (critical satire).

Perhaps as responses come this thread will develop and show where it should go.
