How To Mini Commander lock face?

Is this normal for the MC?

The lock face is half the length of all other EKI that I own.

Will this be a wear issue on the Ti lock face?

There were changes to the lock face and a move to single detent. There should not be a problem.

I have a regular sized commander with a smaller lock face that I got last year. No problems with it so far.

That simply means you have the latest/greatest evolution in EKI linerlock knife geometry. Is it also single detent? Simply put, the most secure lockup occurs as far from the axis of the pivot as possible - new Emerson's have the small lockface surface to maximize this trait.

Ah..I see. Been away from this forum for too long. It’s a single detent. I like this change.

Yes very smooth and crisp. I purchased the Horseman and MC at the same time and found a noticeable difference. Thanks for letting me know about the change. I really have the Roadhouse in my sights now and was hoping the new changes are present. I will reach out to the seller and see if they are aware of this. Thanks for your help.
