Mix 'n Match Blades and Handles

Since Kershaw makes a variety of different styles of leeks, blurs, shallots, scallions, etc., has anyone ever interchanged handles and blades to make some cool combinations? I would love to see some pictures if anyone else has done this. I was thinking about getting some blems and swapping the handles and blades to make some sweet looking edc knives. Please post your thoughts, pictures, or direct me to another relevant thread. Thanks.
 
TX180SX, thanks for directing me to that Leek thread. The combinations and possibilities could be endless. Makes me want to make some FrankenLeeks and some FrankenBlurs.
 
np, and I just went through that thread and apparently you can mix and match whatever you want, awesome.....now to get me a 1660CB! Good luck and don't forget to post pics bud :thumbup:
 
crazy that you asked, because i literally just finished swapping the blades and clips a set of skylines. interestingly enough, i think they BOTH look better this way. i will probably end up selling the brown one anyway, but it turned out much better than i thought.

I tried to do this once with a G10/S30V leek and a framelock leek. The blades didn't really fit so I gave up. :( One was quite a bit older than the other, which might have had something to do with it...
 
I thought I'd love it with the blue..but that green one is the freakin best blur ever!
