Buckshot butcher has an extra higher aged patina on the bade, coffin shaped handle with reclaimed Wine Barrel antiqued Red Oak that has plenty of original character and color. Will only get better looking with time. Outstanding straight back blade design, Blade is over 2" wide and has plenty of stout. Double Peened Brass pins over brass washers . Has the look and feel of a time long gone by. These are each unique and different , gives me the Feeling of a Vintage Buffalo Hunters Knife! Hefty enough to handle butchering but will also work great in your kitchen. Being offered with no sheath. There is an add on when purchasing if you would like a sheath with the knife. Forged from 1095 high carbon steel. Pattern and patina aged blade. Spine/tang 1/8" thick and sharp enough for ferro rod use. Blade width about 2 1/16"″ at widest point. Handle length about 4 3/4″ long. Blade about 5 ″, convex ground and sharpened from tip to hilt. Overall about 9 7/8"
