Someone wanted to see some snake skin, it was on another forum, but I distinctly remember someone wanting to see some. ;)
It is in progress, so the content is still Ratty, but I currently have a project going for a certain buck toothed (no, not me!!!) friend of mine (I mean my RAT! Not Gundy! :p )
Soooo, without too much adou, here are some examples of what a snake can do besides slither around in the grass tickling its belly!

Very nice! I have been holding on to a really large piece (1 x 4 foot) of brown anaconda for years... got it passed down to me from a relative who used to make fur coats and the like. Maybe I could use it to make sheaths! So far it has just been used to scare small children.

DROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL!!! Anaconda!!! The possibilities......ALL the possibilities.....

Nice work Leatherman! How 'bout the details on that bottom piece? Knife maker, along with scale material and the skin you inlayed on that sheath would be much appreciated, that's a sweetheart of an outfit!

Leatherman,
Holy Cow, those are beauties.

Please give us some more details...especially type of snake :D:D

All these sheaths have the skin from a whip snake, its amazing all the patterns and scale shapes that come out of this snake!! If you think that snake is interesting try the Kamagong, darn thing looks like a beaded purse! I've done some Rattle Snake too, but its awful expensive to work with. Python, Tegu Lizard, shark, alligator, even Emu foot! It looks like a dinosaur skin!
That bottom knife was a mystery, I put it up in the KF forums in Levines site and he said it looked like a certain production maker except for the scales which are a little different. I have no idea what they were made of.
MtnClimber69, Collaberation eh? Sounds good to me! I got your message and I am thinking about it as I write this. By your description it sounds like that skin would make a beautiful inlay.
