I'm thinking of getting the MOD STF875. Does any have any experience with one of these? If so, how does its' plunge lock work?

I have no idea. Why don't you list a model NAME. Please.
I have had a trident that I have used for some time now, and I LOVE it. It locks up nice, and I have no question about the lock security.

That is the model name. I have two MODS, (I had three, sold one.) This is a new model that came out earlier this year. They have either a 2.9" blade or a 3.75" blade. Your choice of tanto, drop, clip, or "fighter" blades. And they have a plunge lock or "button lock". They don't have liner locks like the Trident, Hornet, or Tempest. The models are either 6.85" overall with a .125" thick blade, or 8.75" overall with a .148" blade. I've really heard nothing about them from any users, but would like to know more about their locking mech.

:o OOPS. Sorry about that.
But, doesn't the series have a name (ie Voyager (CS) or Evolution (WH))? You might get more response from folks or more results from a search if you try that.
I personally find it quite bothersome and annoying when I seen model numbers that I can't remember what they are. But that's me.

Hi,

I don't have experience with that particular model but I have had a CQD for quite some time (wore it out tonight, as a matter of fact :) )...the plunge lock is great! Very solid and you can flick the knife closed while depressing the lock (as you can with an Axis lock).

Okay, I was wrong. Sorry. I just check out the website.
I wish they would give them decent names, though.
