We have a model 307 that appears to have no date code on the blade. How do we determine the age of this one?

Thanks again,

Wayne

#1 the model has the 307 on the back of the tang
#2 has the BUCK in the shield
#3 has the model 307 on front in tang stamp

what one fits your knife

Hi, your 307 will not have a Buck date code, because it was made by Camillus for Buck.

The 307 Wrangler ran from the late 60's/early 70's up until 1998

If the "307" is on the back side of the main blade, that makes it an early one roughly before 1972.

If the stamp on the main blade is Buck/307/U.S.A. then it will be from 1973-1998.

There are some minor physical variations that may narrow it down a little more, but I don't have them in front of me right now.

If you have to ask, Well!!! You may not qualify, But maybe we can make an exception if you have an intention on collecting more.

How could anyone not collect more 300 knives after having at least one? I have a few---need more--lots more.

I think the "300 Club" should consider a special t-shirt with a neat slogan, like: I Heart 300 Bucks

Yeah, I know, that's corny, but, I bet we can come up with a cool slogan!

Howdy everyone,

New here, just joined a few minutes ago.

Was looking for information on a Buck Model 307 knife. My Mom is trying to put my stepdad is a home that can better care for his Alzheimers and Dimentia conditions, he is 90 and going downhill fast. She asked me to remove all his guns and knives from the house as he tends to get violent at times. I picked up everything yesterday, told my Mom I would try to sell what I could and get the funds to her in order to help her pay for his care. There were WWII survival knives, a Pilot issued folding machete, a WWII Enfield bayonett, and several other smaller kinves... one of which is a Buck Wrangler Model 307. It is in very good condition, complete with the original factory box and small instruction sheet.

Just wondering what this might be worth, and/or if anyone might be interested in it.

Thanks from Texas !

I sent you an email, but in short they are easly had on the auction sites for around $40 . best way, is to look on ebay and see what they are ending the bid cycle for .

You should make a list of what u would like to sell with prices and offer to email it to anyone that would be interested.

The 307 is nice,I'm sure this is one of the newer ones.
