Hello. I didn't know how to contact anybody directly, or whomever is in charge of the Exchange forums.

But I think there should be a forum for folks who want to give away stuff for free. I've got some blades I'm looking to get rid of, and don't really want to make any money.

I've seen some other guys give away their stuff on these boards. Just thought it might be a good idea for the community. Thanks.

If you want to give away a knife why not just post here? From what I have seen most giveaways are posted in the general forums, and there are never problems. I would think that would get the most views. Or you could also donate to the passaround forum if there would be any interest.

Honestly I think that dedicating an entire sub-forum to just giveaways would be a waste. There are usually not that many people giving things away at any single point in time.

The way to contact the administration is to post in the Service & Support forum. I'll move this thread there for you.

Unfortunately I'm afraid the guys are right; there wouldn't be enough traffic for a dedicated forum to be viable. It would be cool if there were, though!

Just post it in the forum you like the most, where the people you want to give it to are to be found. The usual way is to hold a contest -- see who can guess your baby's birthday or your dog's weight or something, whatever you like.
