I caught the Moleskine bug! I now have 1 ruled, 2 squared, and 1 accordion file and I got my wife a squared one. Now, I have a handheld device that won't run out of batteries. Upgrading memory is cheap, space can be as limited or unlimited as you prefer. Water damage can be alleviated by using a pencil or waterproof ink.

The only bad point is if you lose one -- no backup!

I use my iPaq and my moleskine for different purposes, but would hate to be without either!

I have the Moleskine address book and 4 palm pilots (3 Handsprings and 1 Palm). Or should I say had. Gave away all of the electronic crap after getting my Moleskine. About 1500.00 worth of equipment down the drain because of the total effeciency of a 15.00 paper book. Makes me want to weep.

On the other hand, I went out and bought 3 Moleskine journals. Love 'em!!!

I've got four filled Moleskines, one in progress and three sitting waiting in my desk drawer. I love 'em! (Even when the elastic breaks, and it does sometimes.)

You know, I just found out that Moleskine is pronounced Mol-ess-skeena. Makes sense, now that I think about it, them being made in Italy and all.

Hi Ken,

Moleskine is a brand name of a pocket notebook made in Italy. It has a pocket on the inside back cover and an elastic to keep the note book closed.

I have one and it is great.:D
