More new products photos

Most of our new items are now posted on our inventory page, but the pictures are a bit small. So, here are a few of the new items (see the Panawals on another post):

The above items, with the exception of the chianpure, are available on our website. The chainpure AK was a special order and got snatched up pretty fast. It was nice enough, though, that we're gonna make it a regular inventory item.

That particular Chainpuri is now mine...and I will say that the picture doesn't do it justice. It is a wonderful piece!
It has a snakey, deadly feel to it...I can't quite describe it. It is, at the same time, a substantial blade...
Craftsmanship on mine is also quite good.
I think this one will be an excellent addition to the regular line.

Mike, what are the specs on the chainpure? I'm interested especially in its actual length and weight. Thanks in advance for the info.

Regarding the mini-me's, I don't have any pictures but I received my 2 from Craig.

Both approximately 8.75" OAL, handle 4" including the brass bolster, wood handle, blade wasn't too sharp but sharpened right up in a couple of minutes with a Sharpmaker. I don't know about the tang, although I doubt it's full.
Very nice little khukuri for $15.00, IMO. Should open letters, cardboard boxes, etc. without a problem but I doubt I'll be chopping anything with them

The only thing I might wish for would be another 1-1.5" on the handle, but then again that would make it out of "image" with a regular khukuri.
If you're looking for a nice small "look alike", light duty khukuri this should fit the bill. If you're looking for a "real user" you probably want to go up to a mini-jungle.
Just my opinion, yours might vary greatly.

Jon: I agree on your assessment of the mini-me - strictly a cutting knife. And no, the tang is not full. I think the mini-jungle is the smallest "full use" khukuri we have.

And Mike L: Glad you like your Chainpure/AK. A reminder that Steven F would like the specs - I'd give it to him, but I sent that thing out to you so fast I didn't have time to do more than take a picture. I do know that it borders on 20 inches. Next order I'll definitely be getting some, as it's just what I like - a chianpure with a slightly different variation.

And the mini-me picture is forthcoming - and I promise that it won't take 6 months to put up like the mini-jungle took! You do know that if I screw up on your order (wrong knife, delay, etc), you're likely to get a mini-me as a consolation. Now, don't everybody go ordering complicated things to try to get a mini me!
