A Randall Knife Society member, asked me if it is possible to specify, on a Randall order, a Fla marked stainless blade. I asked Gary Randall about this FLA request 2-3-2003 while at the shop picking up 100 club knives. He said, "definitely not."
While I was at the front desk, Jason Randall heard me ask the question and he brought out four stainless knives, he was honing. Two were Fla and two were Fl. They are using both stamps. The knives were a Model 2-5" (Fla stamp), Model 25-5" (Fla stamp), Model 23 (Fl stamp) and a Model 12-9, Sportsmen's Bowie (Fl stamp). These knives could have been just the reverse in regards to the Florida stamp. It depends on which stamp they pick up at the time. Best regards, Rhett Stidham
