"Mosquito Annoyer" - does it work?

Who are the 5%? Deaf mosquitos or lesbian mosquitos?

What percentage of all the biting do the 5% do? Should one have a back-up plan, like recordings of American Idol or, would that be cruel to the rest of the wildlife?

I'm generally skeptical of such things, and the user reviews at Cabela's do little to reverse that.

Maybe it would work if you sprayed it with DEET.

American Idol would cause my ears to bleed. Most animals are more sensitive. I'd advise against it.

It's a gadget. I find the best way to get rid of bugs is a little bit of DEET. :thumbup:

I wonder two things: do some of the reviewers work for Cabelas, and those that claim that it works, how do they know - no bites vs. no mosquitos in the area?

Those are reasonable questions, and consider the chance that a store website may strategically highlight, bury, or delete certain user comments.

In my experience, they do not work. I tried them extensively, with – as best I can tell – a 0% success rate.

Perhaps they work on some kinds of mosquitoes and not others, and not the kinds I've encountered, but my impression is that they don't work at all.
