A few years ago A.G. Russell sold a Mountainman lock back with yellow scales in his catalog. As I recall, it sold for around $75.00. Does anyone remember who the maker was? I missed it then but would like to try and find one now.

There were two runs I believe. The most recent was by Camilus with 154 cm blade. They come up on popular auction sites very frequently.

God Bless

There is at least one on the popular auction site now. it is started at $39.00.

There is also an AG Russell Texas ranger commemorative version with jigged bone listed that has the error date (1826 instead of 1823 making it one of the first batch made before the error was caught)

And do NOT forget that COLD STEEL had sold the same knife as the A.G.RUSSELL MOUNTAIN MAN, made by Camillus for them with black delrin scales and the CARBON V steel blade. These two are identical in form and shape although my A.G. version is a bit classier looking, as it were.
