... such a P.I.T.A.

:grumpy:

sorry we haven't been on the board so much... still moving. :barf:

Its not to bad as long as you have a lot of boxes, a couple of pick ups, at least four dudes, and all the large heavy furniture fits perfectly through the door. :D Ok who am I lying it sucks.

Moving for the most part just plain stinks. Keep your head down and your spirits up.

I hear ya. Used to help move my sister-in-laws about once a year for like 5 yrs straight.

Good luck, take care and your in my prayers

I'm with you pn that Lisa!! Since moving to AZ everytime I have moved or helped somebody move I have done it in summer:rolleyes: Can't fix stupid is guess...

Like shotgunner said, were I in TX, I'd be there with a smile and BIG bottle of water. I hope all goes smooth.

I feel for you guys, I grew up with a Dad in the Air Force, he thought it was such a great idea to use us as movers rather than just let the Air Force pay for it, the reimbursed us but come on really! We moved about every three years, sometimes less. I lived in my first place for six years after getting out of the house, then I moved myself to Colorado. I learned to not be such a Pack Rat, only the important and irreplaceable stuff. Now the wife wants to move once I get a new job, WooHoo!:barf::grumpy:

thanks everyone.
the problem with this move is that it wasnt planned... it was the solution to a family emergency... so we are wingin it... and we are having record high temps here... cant do much in the afternoon without sweatin yourself half dead...

Yes. Still in Texas. We are just moving about 7 miles down the road. We were outside city limits, now inside city limits. People living so close I can't piss off the front porch or the back anymore. I think civilization is gonna be the death of me.

lol... this small town is hardly city, but we were living backed up to woods with deer and other critters in the yard and no regs against shooting and lots of trees.... we will miss all that :(

Civilization blows. Right now I can walk out my back door and go a handful of yards and be swimming in the river. When I move to NC to to go back to school in a few weeks that'll all change. I'll miss it.
