There's a FRN Delica 4 on it's way to my house. When it arrives, I'm going to change the clip to tip-down carry (so it's like my Paramil).

In the past, I've been hesitant to move clips, due to the small screw size and concerns about stripping them. Any suggestions on how to do this right the first time?

Theres no loctite on those screws, and they unscrew pretty easily. A T-6 is all you'll need.

Just don't drop the screws on the carpet, and spend 20 minutes looking for them like I had to.;)

All my EDC are tip up. What is an advantage of carrying tip down? I cannot figure it out how to open one hand if you carry tip down.
Thanks,
R

Tip up vs. tip down has been debated quite a bit. In the end, it's probably personal preference. Assuming the knife is clipped to your pocket, then if it's tip-down, grasp the top of the knife that's sticking out of your pocket between your thumb and 2nd/3rd/both fingers, and pull it out of your pocket. Now, slide your thumb horizontally to the hole, and you're ready to open.

I used to prefer tip-up, but after having one open up in my pocket (and thus
stabbing my finger when putting my hand in my pocket), I now prefer tip-down...
