We spent our first night in Titanic II. I spent all AM getting rehooked via dialup. As you can see I'm online via phone line. So, if you call and get busy signal you'll know why. Not sure when DSL will be back.

We had five people moving yesterday, three of them Nepalis. Result: I couldn't find toothpaste or shoes. Yangdu is trying to get some parcels packed to ship Monday and can't find a tarwar. Nepalis filed some kitchen knives with khukuris -- this to give you an idea of what we are up against.

It won't be back to normal for a long time but I'm going to try to post some blems or deals Monday and try to recover. I don't think I'll be very active on the forum for 3 or 4 more days unless things take a turn for the better. Rusty was deal right about "help"!!! I've got to find my toothpaste and shoes.

A very special thanks to Rusty for taking up the slack. What would I do without him?

Blessings to all and wish me luck.

Later.

Bill sez: "won't be back to normal for a long time ..."

Just what is "normal"? I've been there. I even know where the dust bunnies hang out. How did the move go for them and your helpers didn't happen to back an ivory gripped trousse I know you don't care much about?

Moving.Blah

Oh yeah...and the folding khukuri...hope it made it alright...;) :p

Have moved 3 times in last 2 years. Got smart. ;) Had a local carpenter build me stackable boxes. Last time we moved, we just picked up the boxes and out the door. (at least, that was my perspective...just don't ask my wife about packing the dishes... :D )

What's most interesting to me about this whole thing is the prospect of feral dust bunnies greeting the new tenants when they move into Uncle Bill's old place.

I've been in the same place now for 22 years. Some time back now I worked for one shop for 5 years straight.
Barb and I have been married for 14 years and one month. That's the longest I've ever made it in staying in one place ever!!!!
I'm wondering if perhaps a move would reveal where my Swiss Army Knife and my Spanish made Navaja are hanging out at.

That's pretty good for the kid that was in 24 different states and countless schools by the time he was 13 years old.;)
The most schools and states I can remember in one school year of approximately 9 months was seven schools in seven states!!!!:grumpy:
All that moving when I was a youngster has made me have a pretty good case of stickyness in my later years.
