A few years back an old man came up to me at a show.
He ask me how long it took me to make one of my knives?
I told him I did not really know? He said thats why they look like they do.
I ask him what he meant?
He said you are willing to put all the time into a knife that it takes,
to get it to look and be the way you want it to be.
And not worry about how much time it took to do it.
And that is how you should do it. -

thats like when i do my small 2 1/2 finger skinners, it should only take me 2-3 hrs of work for the price i charge but i must spend over 8hrs. i just dont want to keep track becaues thats when it becomes work and you stop having fun.
