I received the Patton Grande today & wanted to share the knife with you. The workmanship is outstanding on the knife. Rob did a great job. What a great knife! I hope you enjoy these pixs. Nice early Christmas present for myself. Thanks Rob.

Ed,

That's a GREAT piece! Very nice lines and clean workmanship. Good score. Thanks for the details!

Rob does very nice work, and that knife is a good example of it. What you can't see in the pix is the feel of the knife, and I know from handling them personally that Rob's fighters are clearly among the very best for purpose intended. I'll be proud to have mine rest next to that one Ed. Thanks for sharing.

:) Thanks amillion guys,
I'm honored. It should be duly noted that this is the Patton/KASPER Grande--designed by the renowned bladesman and writer Bob Kasper. Thanks to Bob for wanting me to build these...I'm a lucky guy and this is a good day:) See you on the radio when I return from NC on the 27th. Merry Christmas to all...
Rob

That's no problem Jerry. Your Fighter will have the Grande for company. I need to keep my best knives together. I'll be booting some other knives out from my drawer to make room for these.

The Grande with its double edge eight inch blade is light in the hand. I was surprised with its lightness. The sub-hilt handle fits nicely. What a great knife!

Congratulations Fire Horse :). You are a smart man.

The Grande is one of my absolute favorite fighters. The ratio of blade to handle, the ergonomics and security of the handle, the point of balance, the overall weight, the blade profile, the canted full guard capable of disarming if used correctly, and Rob's superb fit and finish make the Kasper/Patton Grande a truly world class fighter.

Enjoy it!

Mario
