5) Murray Carter. I just recently saw a few of this gentleman's knives on Bladeart, and was struck by their simplicity and apparent utility. After reading a few reviews here on BF, I'm looking forward to trying one of his designs out, and they seem extraordinarily well-priced for MS work.

4) Busse Satin Jack. I'm a big fan of Busse's Infi steel, and the Satin Jack seems like a useful iteration of the Busse line.

3) Busse Assault Shaker. I like small, useful knives that are easy to carry. The combination of Busse's Infi with this apparently great design is hard to resist. By the end of the year, I'd like to acquire one.

2) American Tomahawk Company Next Generation Ranger. I don't have any tomahawks. I'd like the chance to check out Mr. Prisco & Co.'s interpretation of this classic tool. I'd also like to see the Next Generation Vietnam Hawk. I think this or the Satin Jack will be my next purchases.

1) Jerry Hossom Reprisal (smaller Retribution). Something about the lines of this knife combined with Mr. Hossom's "Yuppie Camo" make this a "must-have" knife. It's already on order with Mr. Hossom.

So what are other folks' heart-felt desires for 2002? Any comments on my picks?

My first heartfelt desire, good health and cash.

Knifewise
EKI CQC7 A and B
Any of the VG10 Spydercos
The Spyderco Perrin Neck knife
CRKT Carson F4, Ryan 7, Ryan Plan B
Strider MFS or the Strider/Buck Solution (yes the peer pressure got to me)
SOG Sculptura
BM Axis AFCK
More training knives
Maybe one of the DDR kit knives
I'd like some customs but that is another list. :D

Re: Busse. I like INFI (I've had some Busses before) but I find Strider has broader blades.

Re: Hossom. Can't go wrong from what I've seen.

1) a CRKT M18 Z!
just for replacing the Zytel with some fine wood!

2) a CRKT Mad Maxx !?!?

3) some other wishes, but want to stay serious here.

Right now my next purchase will be the Eagle Talon Hawk:cool:

...A true "Lefty" REKAT Sifu. (I have a "Lefty converted" Sifu, but a true "factory Lefty" Sifu would be sweet!.).
...An 8 inch-long version of my Camillus Cuda CQB-1 knife.
...An overnight "date" with Madonna...(Well, this IS a "wish-list".:D.:D.).

My list is just getting started for the year....

My wish list is about 5 miles long, but here's the condensed version:

1. Anso personal sheepsfoot
2. Mayo TNT
3. DDR EDC
4. Simonich talonite Cetan

I just received the Randall-catalogue... I especially like the new #27. Not realistic to quote this one as a 2002 must-have though...
Currently, the delivery schedule is March 2005.

So... For 2002, I'm waiting for my CS SRK to arrive -should be in this week. Furthermore I'm much-tempted to get a Camillus EDC; either in 154 CM or, as a more big-ticket purchase, Talonite. I still like the idea of getting a BM 705 too. There's one thing that restrains me from ordering these two; being that I always like some sort of "natural" ingredient im my knives..., meaning either wood, stag, bone, leather or micarta handle-material. Of course my SRK already breaks this trend...

Damn, I just don't know yet! :D
